Sophie had a stellar amateur career wining the English girls and women’s amateur championship. She qualified for the Ladies European Tour shortly after finishing her qualifications aged 21. Travelling the world competing against the best players on the best golf courses. Sophie played in Women’s British Open’s and US Open’s. After 13 successful years she has since retired from the tour life to continue her coaching and start a new career in broadcasting. A Sky Sports Golf regular, Sophie now talks a good game commentating on Open Championships and Solheim Cups.

Karl is delighted to continue as an ambassador for Stockport Golf Club. You will see him from time to time at the Club with clients from around the world all of whom tend to say ‘What a fantastic facility!’

Karl has worked as a performance coach to some of the world’s best athletes most notably in golf with over 100 PGA Tour, European Tour, LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour players including six major winners such as Louis Oosthuizen, Graeme McDowell and Darren Clarke

Most recently his clients have won on the European Tour such as Ryan Fox and Marc Warren both of whom have visited Stockport

He is the co author of the three Amazon best selling books ‘The Lost Art of Putting’ , ‘The Lost Art of the Short Game’ and ‘Lost Art of Playing Golf’ as well as ‘Attention –the secret to YOU playing great golf’ and ‘Golf –The Mind Factor’ with Ryder Cup captain Darren Clarke.

He has personally trained over 1000 certified Mind Factor coaches.

From other sports his clients include Ashes winning England captain Michael Vaughan, Premier League footballers including recently England capped Tom Heaton. From the world of Rugby League the championship winning team of the Huddersfield Giants in 2013

His passion is to provide golfers of all levels with simple and effective tools to get the very best from their game. His Mind Factor seminars have been presented all over the world to the PGA’s of Australia, Sweden, South Africa, Germany, Holland, Italy, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Belgium.
